Thomas Cullen

I am a palaeontologist and palaeoenvironmental sedimentologist interested in understanding palaeocommunity structure and interactions, the autecology and life history of the organisms within these systems, how they respond to environmental perturbations, and the relation of these factors to broader-scale macroevolution, climate change, and biodiversity. In my research I make use of a combination of isotope geochemistry, quantitative ecological analyses, palaeoenvironmental sedimentology, osteohistology, fieldwork, and taphonomy to examine questions and test hypotheses at various spatiotemporal scales.
