My research is focused on the environmental aspects of mine waste, particularly tungsten release and mobility from tailings piles into surrounding soils and ground waters. Currently, I’m looking at tungsten stable isotope fractionation during its adsorption to common iron oxyhydroxides found within these tailings piles.
